Best Tanning drops for moisturizer!!

shoppersdrugmart.caI really love these tanning drops, as a girlie who moisturizes each time I get out of the shower it was easy to incorporate them into my routine during the spring and summer months. I used to go through multiple bottles of gradual tanning lotion a summer. This dropper bottle lasted an entire summer which I thought was crazyyy but also heck yea saves my bank account! BONUS you can take the bottle in your carry-on if you're travelling! For reference I am white, like northern european white and I get more red and freckly than tan in the warmer months but the dark drops give a great tan on my skin! I also have very sensitive skin and didn't break out when I added 3 drops to my face moisturizer. I think the key for an even tan is to have a great lotion/moisturizer (I use Palmers Cocoa butter) and to make sure you are mixing the drops REALLY WELL before lathering your body. Just like gradual tanning lotion or tanner be careful in joint areas (knees, ankles, elbows) don't over apply and wash your hands after because I had orange/brown nail beds. Per 1 pump of body lotion/moisturizer I add about 3/4 drops. It takes about 12-24hrs to develop it is gradual, so if you are looking for a quick dark tan I would not choose this product but if you are looking for something that is less dramatic but gives you a good natural looking tan this is worth a shot!

shoppersdrugmart.caThese drops are not it. The actual mousse version is great, but these drops do not work. Takes longer to develop than the mousse and gets worse and worse. Uneven, patchy, fades very patchy, and sticks to elbows more than the mouse. Don't bother, just get the mousse.

shoppersdrugmart.caI'm used to using a brush and kind of contour/bronze with my tan, but I wanted to try these. I put about 6 drops in and I got a really nice colour (not orange). But be careful around your hairline, and your eyebrows. I just mixed it with my face moisturizer and put it all over my face, but then it stained my eyebrows for a week… I have reddish hair so it's fine but I'm probably going to go back to putting face tan on with a brush and buff it in like bronzer. Also, this bottle is going to last forever.
