The Citrine Balm from winky Lux is so fun and perfect for a mom like myself that is always on the run but likes to add a little color to her lips. I feel like this lip balm is a magic trick, and I love showing my kids how it magically changes the color of my lips. I love that I don't have to worry about the lip balm leaving color all over my teeth. I can't get over how the pH technology works to give me the perfect natural looking pink. This is definitely my favorite lip balm. This being said I do wish that this was more hydrating because my lips dry out rather quickly and this offers only temporary moisture to my lips. The packaging is perfect for this lip balm, it comes in a cute gold pill casing and the actual lip balm is gorgeous and features a lovely gold shimmer that sparkles as you twist it up. The presentation as a whole is beautiful and definitely peaks people's interest when they see it. This is perfect for anyone that likes having just a hint of color on their lips without looking all done up.

The Winky Lux Citrine Balm is a great grab and go pH color changing lip balm. The packaging and presentation is fantastic: the box it comes in is beautiful (any crystal lovers?) and the gold container that holds the balm itself is aesthetically pleasing, being an accessory to any outfit. The balm contains gold shimmer encased in a clear base to create pure pink magic. When applying the balm, it is very easy and smooth. The color change happens quickly and is fun to watch. The balm is very hydrating for me due to the ceramides; I have worn this balm out for a night on the town, date nights to restaurants, and even around the house. It lasts for hours without having to frequently reapply. There is no transfer. It is also tasteless and odorless. My lips are very sensitive to many different ingredients, but I did not have any reaction to this balm.   Carrying the balm is convenient in that it is small enough to fit anywhere while still giving the feel of a full size product. This product works great with a makeup or no makeup look and is perfect for use by anyone at anytime.

While this citrine balm is not inherently a bad product, it just didn't work for me. I like a natural make up look and was hoping this would add the promised "most flattering warm-toned pink with a subtle shimmer" to my lips. But instead it turned my lips a very light fuchsia shade that didn't look natural at all. It lasts about two hours on my lips while drinking from cups. There is no color transfer when eating or drinking, nor is there a scent, which I love. The balm container itself is very cute and compact, and I love the shimmery look of the balm before it's applied to the lips. It promises to add hydration, but I didn't experience much of it. While this product wasn't as drying as a lipstick, I noticed my lips felt more dry and needed more lip moisturizer on days that I used the Citrine balm. It's so cute and such a good idea, unfortunately it just wasn't for me.

Wow! The product is all around 5 stars. The design is sleek and looks expensive. The gold case really makes it stand out and fits everywhere due to its compact size. This lip balm glides on so smooth and provides hydration and a light shimmer to your lips. I myself have darker colored lips and this citrine balm has helped lighten them to appear more pink in shade. This not only made my lips feel hydrated but it helped them feel more moisturizer without feeling like a heavy or sticky feeling compared to using a lipgloss. I loved the smooth texture and the easy of using it on my lips. After using it multiple times I noticed that my lips were feeling healthier looking brighter and the chapped feeling was gone. My lips were smooth and hydrated for longer periods of time and I didn't need to constantly reapply the balm.

This lip balm is so neat! I have never tried a ph lip balm before but have always wanted to see what would match my skin tone. I tested out the citrine balm and it had a citrusy scent to it and a very mild flavor. When i applied it, I had applied a few swipes back and forth on my lips to let the color set in. Within 2-3 swipes, you could see the color change like magic. The shade that I got was the perfect shade for my skin tone! It left a very pretty darker pink with a shimmer. When swiping it on, it is clear but when you wipe it back/off, the lip balm is colored so it is really neat. I currently have chapped lips and am in desperate need always for hydration in my lipcare. I found this to be a hydrating balm that worked really quickly. It provided a solid coverage that wasn't super sticky or tacky like others can be. It was a little sticky like normal lip balms are. To remove the balm, I just used a wet paper towel to wipe it back. It was super easy to remove. And lastly, it lasts for quite a while! I wore this to work and by lunchtime, my lips were still pink! I reapplied after and it lasted throughout the whole day. Overall, this is a really neat product and I'm happy I was able to test it out. Winky lux did a great job in finding shades that matched perfectly to your Ph!

I've picked the Citrine balm as I was looking for a more warm-toned pink that's semi-shiny. I also enjoy the fact that's unflavored since most times this type of lip products tend to be a bit too sweet for my taste. Another great thing about it is the small, compact packaging which is so cute and practical as you can carry it in your jeans pocket or the smallest purse you might have. I've noticed it lasts longer than I expected and when you apply it, it feels smooth and silky without giving you that sensation that it stretches out your lips and makes them look more thick and cakey, but it actually leaves them feeling hydrated.
