I used root lifter for years & loved it. Added needed volume to my fine straight hair. Thought just the bottle design was changed but new formula is not working. Makes my fine hair too soft & adds no volume whatsoever. Reading other reviews other people feel the same way. Feel you lost a lot of customers by changing the formula. PLEASE bring back old formula root lifter!

This is the first time I have used this product and I have to say that it did nothing for my hair! Then I came to this site and read over and over again that it does not live up to the old version of the product, which, f course, I did not know. I will be returning it and will look for something else! I applied it after watching, on towel dry hair, as they recommend and my hair looked awful. I wish I had tried the old version.... and sad that usually, when products change, they become worse!

I love it. I haven't found a product that works better for my thin, fine hair. Bring back the night conditioning crème!

This new product does not live up to its predecessor. It leaves hair limp..Please bring back the luxurious root booster blow out lotion. I will not buy any of your products till you do.

I have used the old formula for several years and it truly worked wonders for my flat fine hair. The new formula is awful. Sadly, it leaves my hair even flatter and too soft to do anything with. I am sooooodisappointed.

No!!! they totally discontinued the product that actually worked. I used the old volumizer for years. It was great. This stuff does NOTHING! Like another review stated, it's just water in a bottle we paid a good price for. What happened to you Frieda??? I'm done with your product until you bring back the old volumizer!! Why discontinue something that apparently people loved???

WHY WHY WHY???? I have used the old formula for years, it was wonderful and gave my fine hair incredible volume. Since I seem to be one of many ppl here saying the same thing, so it was obviously selling, why on earth would you discontinue & reformulate??? The new formula is horrible, leaves my hair completely flat and too soft to style. BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA PLEASE!!!!!

Once I tried this on my hair, I won't ever style my hair again without it! Especially fine hair like mine! It's absolutely perfect for the lift you need so you're not flat hair head! I use it on semi dry hair spray it finish drying and GO! I had to order it on line and I'm not that woman 👩 so I'm serious about this stuff! I told everyone too! You won't be disappointed and you don't need a lot!

I bought the Volume Lift spray and the Purple Shampoo at Shoppers Drug Mart over a month ago. I have only used this a few times and the spray tip came off. It started with the spray coming out watery instead of foamy. Then the tip portion came off after a few more uses. Unfortunately, the content is still three-quarters full. I don't have the receipt from Shoppers anymore and I can't get a refund/exchange. What a waste of money! The bottle design is definitely defective. If anyone knows how to put the spray tip back in place, please let me know. I've only used this product a few times and the quality seems okay. But I won't recommend it because the bottle feels finicky even when I first used it.

This stuff works great and doesn't make my hair look greasy, as I have naturally blond hair and some of these things tend to do that to my hair and it looks like I need to wash my hair all over again.
