Best when used with a moisturizer for those with dry skin

After a little over a month using this product, I really didn't notice much of a difference in my skin. I use it sparingly because it contains dimethicone, and sometimes that can make me break out. I noticed the more I used it, the more I would get whiteheads in the areas I applied the product. It's... not a bad product. I just think for my skin type it isn't the right product. After purchasing an LED light therapy mask, I'm noticing I can use this product a bit more because the blue LED light kills acne-causing bacteria, so the whiteheads don't appear as often when I use this product now. I mostly put it on after I use the Derma E Anit-Wrinkle Advanced Antioxidant Moisturizer on days where the humidity drops below 40%. I live in a hot and dry climate, so this seems to amplify the effects of my moisturizer on really dry days. I wouldn't recommend using this alone in place of a regular moisturizer, at least for me personally because I feel like it doesn't moisturize my skin that well if used alone. As I said, for me personally, it seems to just amplify the effects of my main moisturizer. Perhaps it is just too lightweight for me? I wouldn't try to talk someone out of purchasing this item, however, and I feel like the positive reviews people left are quite accurate. It just didn't do wonders on my skin. There are many positives about this product regardless of the fact it didn't hydrate my skin as much as I thought it would. It goes on smooth and silky and absorbs quickly. It is nice because it doesn't leave the skin feeling oily and sticky. Like every product, you don't know if it's going to work wonders on you unless you try it. I am glad I tried it so I know, and I do like to have it in my collection for days I feel I need to add a little extra kick to my moisturizer. I would like to try other Derma E serums before I make a final decision on whether to stick with this one. We shall see.
