Drying and smells weird
Evaluer à
shoppersdrugmart.caIt was extremely drying. Product is so stiff it doesn't apply easily. It also had a weird playdoh smell.
Opaque and Unflattering

shoppersdrugmart.caThe coverage, consistency, and colour of this is horrible. I was expecting a sheer finish (you know, a tint) similar to the other Burt's Bees tinted lip balms, this went on like I was applying a thick glue stick to my lips. It went in the trash. A mineral sunscreen product should not be advertised as TINT but full-coverage, very disappointing for the price.
I absolutely love it!

shoppersdrugmart.caI'd been looking for a natural SPF lip balm with color and this product fits the bill perfectly. It does take some skill and experience to apply it properly, but once you've mastered the technique (not all that difficult), it's a great product. The color would probably look good on most people, it has staying power and it does actually provide a really good tint to your lips that lasts! I'll be buying and wearing it whenever I'm outside for extended time periods. I love this product.
great product

shoppersdrugmart.caI love this product for giving colour that lasts and provides sunprotection. I think the problem that most people are having is that its not "tinted" - its an opaque product - think of it as a pink zinc. Its great for me as a tennis player and kite surfer - i want a lip protection that stays on in sweaty and water enviroments . I only gave it 4 stars as it doesn't last for 2 hours like their previous "life guard rescue" which is no longer available. But it's the closest thing on the market i've found that truely stays on - other than pure white zinc (which is NOT the look I'n going for :). I would pay ANY amount to find pretty product that has real longevity in extremely harsh environments. I would think i'm not the only biking/sailing/skiing gal that wants superior protection and not look like one of the guys
Like a matte lipstick

shoppersdrugmart.caEverything about this reminded me of a lipstick. Opposite of a lip balm, was harsh to apply and actually dried out my lips. "Tinted" very much not. Stained my lips after wear. I hadn't had a problem with the regular burt's bees lip balms tinted or not. I wish they would've named it something else then there wouldn't be as much negativity from this product.
Not what I expected

BurtsBees.comI love the tinted lip balm and was so excited to see these with SPF. VERY different. It is like a tube of hard wax. Impossible to apply. The only way I can use is the put some in a small tub with an emollient like Vaseline. Don't waste your money. Stick with the regular tinted lip balm and apply a clear SPF over it.
Disgusting

BurtsBees.comI wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. Such a great idea to have a tinted lip balm with SPF, but the execution falls very short. This lip balm SMELLS TERRIBLE, with a strong and unpleasant chemical smell that lingers for a long time. Even my friends who were next to me when I applied it, commented on how they could smell it and how bad it was. A waste of money, I will not be able to use this product again and it will go into the garbage. It was also very tacky and stiff - difficult to apply smoothly without stretching your lips like crazy. Not sure what happened with the product testing on this one!
DO NOT purcahse...

BurtsBees.comTerrible!!!!!! It smells so bad and feels horribly dry. I could not even get it to rub onto my lips properly. I love their regular chapsticks and keep one in all of my purses, but this one was NOT it. I'm not sure what is wrong with the formula, but I am so disappointed I wasted money on this.
