This eyeliner is very thick, but a bit too liquidy for good application. The formula is nice and it does seem to stay all day. It comes off easily with normal micellar water.

To preface, everything I've used from this brand has exceeded expectations, and to be honest, the setting spray can be classified as a holy grail. So I bought this under the assumption that it too would impress. It did not. The formula goes on thick, but the applicator doesn't hold enough for even one swipe across the lid. It took me 3 dips into the product to get across a single lid. Because of this, the application is patchy. So I went in and tried to clean it up, but it comes off patchy too, so despite my best efforts to clean it up, it removed in patches, causing me to have to go back in and try to fix that with more product. The result was a line that you'd think was drawn on by a kindergartener. Once I got frustrated, I removed the whole thing entirely, and it came off in chunks that ended up all over my eye area. I'm super disappointed because I really was expecting this to perform beautifully, as the rest of their products have for me.

Love a good brown liner - adds a cute little soft defined wing without standing out like black. I like the thick packaging of this it's nice to hold. Very lightweight.

pretty bummed about this one i've used other Kim Chi Chic products before and always loved them, but this is the worst eyeliner i've ever used, it's clumpy, lumpy. and sticky. I have hooded eyes and draw the bat wing shape to fit my eye, so the top and bottom of my liner touch in my crease, and when they did the liner stuck to myself even when totally dry and removed itself leaving the wing even patchier than it already was. it was nearly impossible to get a clean line, and it got all over my lashes making them sticky. I read other reviews to see if anyone else had these issues and saw similar experiences, and customer service responses say the liner is meant to have a smooth application (it doesn't) dry down quickly (it doesn't) and that it should never be clumpy or sticky (it is), IDK if mine was old or expired, but it came directly from the website so I'd hope not. TLDR I couldn't get it to look good or stay on sitting still, so it definitely isn't stage proof.

I have heard about KimChi Chic Beauty for a while and finally got to try their Effin Liner in 03 Dark Brown. This was actually my first time wearing a brown liquid liner and the first time I've used a dip brush liner in over a decade (I usually buy the pen style). The application was actually much easier than I anticipated and I was able to get a precise wing effortlessly with just a few strokes and no micellar water dipped cotton swab, which is how I often have to edit my eyeliner with other brands that dry too fast. I have very sensitive skin and eyes that get irritated easily (I also wear contacts) and I had no problems with the ingredients in this eyeliner. I wrote this review after wearing it on a long hot day in South Carolina and it did not smudge, crack, or fade away.

I love kimchi but this is the WORST eyeliner I have ever used. Its incredibly sticky I almost thought it was eyeliner GLUE because it just does not dry to point where its not a sticky mess. Its super black, the felt tip is whatever but its practically unusable unless you set it with a TON of black shadow. Im so disappointed.

i purchased this eyeliner in person a week or two ago and it is easily the worst eyeliner i've ever used 😭 it's hard to apply, the bottle and stopper are super messy, and it feels sticky and tacky the entire time you wear it. my eyes feel gross and tacky all day long, even when i set it with eyeshadow. it also rubs off extremely easily. have been wearing eyeliner near daily for probably 10 years so ive tried a lot of eyeliners and i can confidently say this is the worst one i have used in a long, long time. save your money and get something else!

Wish I could give 0 stars! I bought this in a pinch when I couldn't find my regular eyeliner… I opened it and laughed so hard at the consistency it was clumpy and runny at the same time… swatched it on my back of my hand and then instantly threw it in the trash. I wouldn't let this goop anywhere near my eye.

The eyeliner is black but the brush sometimes isn't hooded eyelid friendly. I would make different colors and maybe different brushes for specific eye types. I have almond hooded eyes.

This is a very easy to use liner. I like the felt tip, gives me more control. I don't love how the product gunks up on the stick above the tip, mostly just a nuisance.
