Purchased this product at a secondhand store and felt it necessary to leave a review. Ive used almost every product from this "stubborn" line and they range from decent to amazing. Ive had acne since age 13 and am 26 still battling. This product caused an adverse reaction ive never seen before and ive used probably over 100 different products at this point. Tiny comedones and irritation all around my mouth after one use. I am hoping it clears up quickly 🙏

I have had stubborn breakout over the past few months. As a result my skin tone has been awful and I keep getting more acne. I started using this product after using the cleaners by neutrogena, morning and at bedtime. It's been a few days, and I've noticed such an improvement in my skin tone - my skin visibly looks calmer, hydrated, even, less red and blotchy. It's fantastic and I will keep using this . I recommend it highly. I was skeptical at first as many products make claims that do not work. For this product, it works by the claims on the package. Loving it!!!!!'

My daily skincare is primarily neutrogena hydro boost cleanser + gel cream, with very few other products. I wanted to add this niacinimide and the stubborn blackheads serum to my routine to even out my skin. This niacinimide serum (which I applied before moisturizer onto clean, dry skin) pilled immediately even with no other product underneath. The niacinimide and stubborn blackheads serums were the only two things I added to my routine, and I developed a deep, inflamed pimple after two weeks of daily use, in a place I do not typically develop acne (lower left cheek). I was only applying the blackhead serum to my t-zone, so the culprit seems to have been this niacinimide serum, which I was applying all over my face. I suspect is is the dimethicone in this product causing both the pilling and the clogged pores (I also personally just find dimethicone really gross-feeling when I apply it) -- weirdly, the stubborn blackheads serum also has dimethicone and I did not get the same issue with the areas I applied that (might just be that some areas of my skin interact with the dimethicone differently than others). In summary, I really hope neutrogena can re-evaluate the use of dimethicone in this product because it created a huge blotch of hyperpigmentation on my face from the deep, inflamed pimple that it created :(

Just wondering do I wash it off after I put it on or do I leave it on

This product created a nice base to soak up my moisturizer and foundation. Not sure if it really improved my skin texture or if I saw any changes to my skin overall but I enjoyed it as a serum

Mine had a sticky texture and no improvement in skin.

I have been really into these types of skincare lately but I must say with this particular product I didn't notice much a difference in my skin texture. I tried for the recommended time but still noticed little changes .

I really liked the serum, it has significantly improved my skin. I used to have a lot of texture and blemishes, however the serum helped a lot in improving my skin. I even bought the matching cleanser to really clear up my skin. I would 100% reccoment this serum with niacinamide.

I'm sometimes bad with consistently using a product so I'm not sure if it works well but I see a small difference

I don't have sensitive skin at all, I can use all products excluding salicylic acid products with no issues. I immediately loved the way it felt and my skin looked great until I woke up the next morning. I am covered in red places. I wouldn't call them bumps, just red inflamed areas all over my face. I'm like REALLY disappointed. My skin as bad as it did when i was a preteen. I usually love your products, but this was awful for my skin.
