The brush is amazing. The bristles are nicely packed together in a dense way that allows me to spread my foundation or concealer around and add layers without lifting previously applied liquid makeup. The brush itself is soft and gentle and doesn't pull on your skin. It has quickly become the only brush I reach for for my liquid products. I really liked the Bobbi Brown Foundation Brush, although it wasn't my absolute favorite. The bristles are extremely soft and felt gentle on my skin. I didn't experience any bristle shedding, and the brush held up well during use. It blended and applied makeup nicely, and it was also easy to wash and clean. My only downside was that I felt the coverage could have been better. My Soft Focus Foundation Brush truly has me scheming to replace every single brush I own. I was amazed at how different it is than the dirt-hard one I've relied on for years. Firstly, it feels so soft. The brush is angled, and not large. It's surprisingly small, but what really sealed the deal is how my foundation does not latch to the bristles. It stays on my face. I do not need to blend out brush strokes. And, for the first time in my 55 years, I do not use more foundation, I use less, because it's not in the brush. I'm completely sold. I'm showing half of my face with and half without application. It's a work in progress, but the brush is truly amazing. I honestly have no negatives with this brush. I was skeptical when I opened it about liking the application but I am a firm believer now. It will be permanently replacing my current foundation brush and my foundation sponge. Application wish it was flawless and so easy. It applied my foundation very evenly and I don't feel that my product was wasted or sunk into the brush more than it did my face. I was a little apprehensive about this foundation brush because it's smaller than the foundation brushes I'm used to, but I really love it. The smaller brush head allows for more precise blending and I also don't waste as much product. The brush fibers are dense and soft, allowing for easy and even distribution of product without pulling or tugging at my skin. It allowed me to really buff the product in and maintain a blurring effect. If you're on the fence due to the size, i definitely recommend you give this brush a shot!
