I used one base coat and I love how it just literally melts /blends into the nail to give it a nice smooth base. So yes I really like it but, will use it for color polish didn't care for it under the "Mellow the Yellow" I do have a review for that polish as well :) so bottom line I feel is this is an "excellent barrier polish" to protect he nail bed from discoloration etc. under color polish!!

butterlondon.com/I stopped using nail polish of any kind years ago because of chemicals. However, my nails are splitting and I decided to try this because of the better ingredients. Really seems to be making a difference! My only complaint is the overly 'yellow' look with the medium color. Makes my nails look like I'm a smoker. Not a good look. I fear the light will be too light but can't continue the medium alone because of the yellow look on my nails. I wish that could be toned down.
