Instead of addressing the defect, Biotherm's customer service offered a 15% newsletter sign-up discount for new purchase, which completely ignores the actual problem. Hiding behind receipt requirements for a gifted item and offering marketing discounts for new purchase instead of solutions shows a lack of accountability. Disappointing product, disappointing support. I would not recommend this purchase.

This strongly suggests a manufacturing or packaging defect, not user error. Because the item was a gift and I did not have a receipt, customer service refused to provide any assistance—not even basic advice on whether the dispenser could be adjusted. When I followed up expressing disappointment, Biotherm's response was to sign up for their newsletter to receive a 15% discount on a future purchase. Offering a marketing promotion instead of addressing a quality issue with the Biotherm Foam Shaver is frustrating and unprofessional, particularly for a premium brand. This experience has significantly reduced my confidence in Biotherm's commitment to customer care.
