Don't do it, I'm a dental hygienist and have had several sonicare models over the years, well this is the first one to ever break on me, and the most expensive one I've ever purchased. Of course they'll give me a courtesy replacement if I have a receipt, but who has a receipt from 3 years ago. At this price point it should absolutely last longer than three years. Also the touch button is right where I rest my thumb to brush so it constantly changes my intensity while I'm brushing. Won't be recommending this to my pts

I have been using Philips electric toothbrushes for over 40 years. The Prestige 9900 HX9900 is an amazing upgrade for brushing your teeth, as long as the app syncs correctly. The app works very well when it syncs; I don't know if it's me or the app that is having trouble. Time will tell. The Philips quality is there, and the ergonomics are very good also. Without the app, it gets the brushing job done very well. The brush heads that are offered are excellent. Still learning what to do and how it works. Bottom line, it's better than the one it replaced; I have to learn how to use it.

Any Sonicare I owned systematically failed after 2 years.

I love this toothbrush. I deducted 2 stars for the high price, the durability (my old one broke after 4 years), and lack of repair capability (tried to get the broken one repaired, but Philips said that wasn't possible). With those caveats, I love the way it cleans my teeth. When it's running, I believe it's the best on the market. That's why I keep buying even with the high price.

Love the toothbrush and feature of too much movement and pressure notification. I wish the app was more accurate on re-brushing missed areas

I like the toothbrush since it makes my teeth feel cleaner Everytime I brush. I do wish the app showed individual teeth cleaning and not just a portion of my jaw that's cleaned. This way I can see which teeth I'm not cleaning as well. Other than that, great toothbrush.

I chose a 4 Star rating because everytime I use it, I feel like I just let the dentist office. The power of the bristles slung my toothpaste across the room. I love the app. The app shoes you where to brush better at. Where you brush to hard, and more. The app can even automatically order you new toothbrush heads. I recommend this toothbrush to everyone.

I like this toothbrush but in the past couple of days its sensitivity and cleaning ability seems to have decreased. It no longer seems to notice what side of my mouth I am brushing and as a result it gives me incorrect information on where and how I brushed my teeth, and they don't feel as clean as they used to.

My last Sonicare died, and the replacement I had, I could not just buy a new cord for (a separate issue), so during Prime, I ordered my new Sonicare. It was pricey, even on sale, but so far it's doing well. It had a short learning curve (took two uses to get the hang of it), but it's doing reasonably well. I like the ability to increase the pressure, though it's not as good at whitening as my last one. I'm also concerned about how much the replacement heads will cost.
