I take a reading at approximately the same time every day- 2.5 hours after lunch which is about 2.5 hours before dinner and when I watch what I eat my numbers are in a range that satisfies my health concerns

Sometimes it takes 5-6 strips to get a reading. That can add up $ big time. Not consistent as the blo0d looks fine on the strip yet gives an error. Get a different meter, you will save money in the long run.

the meter is showing lower blood sugar level every day 5.0 - 5.2 in fasting and I was so happy. one day I did not take my medicine but the meter still showing my blood sugar level 5.0. then I doubted, I tried on my another finger, now it is showing 7.9 and at once I checked again this time it is showing 6.3.

Doing test once a day. Observe up to +/- 1 mmol/l difference in readings, taking blood from different fingers at the same time. I's a lot. Same problem for two 100 pcs packs I've bought. Nevermore. I'm switching for different brand.
