It didn't foam up, which was different from what I'm used to, but it still gave me a close shave. The cream stayed put and didn't dry out fast, so I wasn't rushing. My skin felt soft and hydrated after shaving, not dry or irritated like it sometimes does with other products. The scent is really subtle and clean, nothing too strong or artificial. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it had just a little more glide when shaving around tighter areas. But for the moisture and the post-shave softness, I'd say it's definitely a solid product I'd use again. The packaging looks sleek and masculine, very on-brand for American Crew. The price isn't super cheap, but for what you get, I think it's fair.
