Lightweight
I've used many mineral sunscreens over the years and this is the only one that feels this light weight. I am really fair so white cast isn't usually a problem for me so I'm not too sure whether or not others experience it. I don't notice much of a fragrance either which is a positive in my books! Th...

white like a mime
nice in many ways; texture, weight, non greasy, excellent for sensitive skin....however, left me white like a mime and did not disappear. And I'm pale!

It is my forever sunblock

shoppersdrugmart.caI have been using this brand sunblock long time .. I know so many people like thin liquid sunblocks bu I loveee thick ones it really protects from sun just use after applying this tint light sunblock as well no whites ! I never get sun colour with this ones .
Horribly tinted
Evaluer à
shoppersdrugmart.caI am very unsatisfied with this sunscreen. Nowhere is it indicated that it is tinted, yet it leaves an extremely pink tone on your face. The clash with the colour of my skin makes me look ridiculous. I reached out to the company about this, and never heard back. Not at all impressed with the product and even less with the customer service. Waste of money.
White cast - must wear with foundation
Evaluer à
shoppersdrugmart.caI have south asian brown skin. Should have read reviews before buying…solid, white cast that leaves your face looking like a mime/ghost/casper…all of what previous reviews have said. That being said, my foundation does a nice job of covering it up, so it can still work if you wear foundation overtop, but you will still have a white sheen underneath. The texture is also chalky. I tried Ombrelle before this and much prefer that though that is oily.

Mixed emotions

shoppersdrugmart.ca3 stars because this sunscreen has pros and cons. Pros: non-toxic ingredients; doesn't sting my eyes; goes on evenly and doesn't pill; plays very well under makeup; high protection, doesn't break me out or cause skin irritation. cons: despite being tinted it does have a white cast (although it does fade after a few minutes on my light skin. not sure if it would fade on darker skin tones); it is thick and requires some work to massage into the skin; I'm not sure what these other reviewers are talking about because I find it rather greasy and heavy. It may not be as bad as some other mineral sunscreens, but it certainly is not light and matte. Unlike the white cast, the greasiness does not fade after a few minutes, although if you like a dewy complexion then this might be for you. This is a sunscreen I would wear if I was going to be outside in the sun all day, but is a little too heavy for everyday wear for me, especially working inside in Canada in the winter.
Ashy cast. Even on fair-medium skin

shoppersdrugmart.caI bought this thinking it was the tinted version. Decided to give it a shot because there was practically nothing in stock in stores. The texture seems rich and not as chalky as some SPFs for the face, but even mixing it with a very fluid foundation that is about 3 to 4 shades darker than my skin (I'm a MUA with ton of products to make this one work for me), I still have a pinky - Gray cast on my skin that I can't get rid of no matter what. To put things into perspective, my skin is fair to medium with a yellow. If we were talking Mac products, I'm a C3/NC25-30 range. The texture is very creamy and feels rich and nice on the skin, but perhaps a bit heavy for summer where I typically just layer different serums to give my skin the look and light hydration it needs.
Make sure you're applying it properly!

shoppersdrugmart.caThis is a mineral sunscreen and from what I understand this type of sunscreen will leave a white cast unless they're tinted. I recently learned how to apply mineral sunscreen properly and it does not leave a white cast on me anymore! I would note that I do have a pretty fair skin tone (MAC NC 20-25), however I did notice that even on me it would leave me looking like a ghost before I learned how to apply the sunscreen. My boyfriend would even often tease me for it. That's how bad it was lol So the trick is you have to apply in layers. Roughly apply your first layer over your face without rubbing it in and let it warm up on your skin for a minute. Once it has warmed up, rub it into your skin until even. Then apply your next layer following the same steps. I like to do 3 layers in order to have a sufficient amount of sunscreen on my face for proper protection. Yes, this is a process. But if you are looking for a mineral sunscreen without white cast, this is unfortunately sometimes the reality. Otherwise I would definitely suggest looking into chemical sunscreens or tinted mineral sunscreens. I have oily, sensitive skin and personally I did not experience any breakouts with this sunscreen but I know everyone's skin may react differently.
White Cast

shoppersdrugmart.caProbably great for your skin if you don't mind looking like a ghost. Going to try maybe using foundation drops in this because I foolishly threw out the receipt after purchasing
Not great
Evaluer à
shoppersdrugmart.caI have dry and reddened skin. This felt really thick and it was hard to blend. It also left a very obvious white cast on the skin.
Acne again Avenue!

shoppersdrugmart.caThird Avenue sun protection production causing me breakouts! I've been using this on my neck during covid and it gave me acne on my neck. Not happy.
Literally THE WORST

shoppersdrugmart.caThis stuff is garbage. Leaves your skin with a garish thick blue white layer that doesn't soak in. Worst purchase ever!! Do not buy unless you want to look like an absolute freak. Waste of money!
