I had the same experience as the other reviewer - the cup is made from silicone that is too soft which SOUNDS like a good thing, but the brim won't open after insertion. I've used diva cups for literally more than twenty years so I'm quite comfortable and confident in using menstrual cups, but this was a waste of money, and a source of embarassment at work when I spent wayyyyy too long in the bathroom trying to insert it properly.

Very bad

I have been a Diva Cup user for years. While on vacation I accidentally dropped my Diva in the toilet and had to discard it. The only Shoppers in my area was sold out of my size 2 Diva, so I picked up the Life Brand size B instead, figuring it looked to be almost identical in shape and length so it was worth a try rather than have to put up with pads. Unfortunately, it is significantly softer than the Diva's silicone and has a less firm or pronounced rim. I have struggled my whole cycle to get it to open when inserted. I'll be getting a Diva for next month, keeping this as backup in case I ever lose my Diva again, but it will never be my go to cup. Would only recommend to a friend who finds the Diva cup too firm, but wants a similar shape and length.

I had been meaning to buy a menstrual cup for months, trying to be more environmentally conscious as well to see how it worked. I was thinking of buying the diva cup but I was on a bit of a budget, and this one was bigger than even the largest diva cup. To my surprise, I'm on day four, and haven't had a single drop spill out of me. I'm shocked. I can wear white pants and not be worried. If you're hesitant on buying one, or think you "need the name brand for quality" don't, this works wonders.
