The Kansas shaved butter maximum hold moisture retention styling gel 18.5 Oz is NOT FOR ALL HAIR TYPES. I had high hopes for this because lots of their products work for black hair but this is not good for any 3c to anything in 4s. It does not hold all day and it is WATER BASED. LEAVES YOUR HAIR LOOKING NASTY AND WET.

It smells amazing, it's gentle on the hair and does not live any residue. I buy this gel for my daughter but I use it as well to keep my frizzy hair in place.

Love this gel keeps my hair super sleek. The only thing is that I do have to wash my hair after using because my hair gets whites.

I think this brand is one of the best and in the budget for curly girls. I have try so many gel products and nothing has being as good as this one, it leaves my hair very soft and control. I really love this brand and looking forward to try more of them 💗

This gel has a great smell and consistency! Was able to slick my 3c/4a hair down with minimal frizz for about 4 hours as well as for a wash and go. Also used it for my edges paired with an edge control!

Product does flake but can be paired with an oil to reduce this. My curls were still frizzy over time. Was in a rush but 100% will continue to use

Super light and helps keep moisture but moisture is going away after 3-4 days and that tells me it is time for a wash day

I LOVE THIS GEL! I was a hard core ECO Styling gel user and still use it here and there but this has shooken up my whole routine. This gel is great for all different kinds of styles. My buns be on point, ponys, braids, I even love using it when I'm leaving my hair out for extra definition.

Love using these for my edges and for both of toddlers hair, most gels don't hold and leave/ white on the hair, this definitely does not!!!
