shoppersdrugmart.caI started using the Magnifix Sugar Lip Scrub in 2020. It was great! Just enough scrub with a moisturizing base and little to no colour. However, this latest version is awful!! Hardly any sugar crystals. Too much moisture. Dark bubble gum pink tint. Watier: please go back to the previous formula.

shoppersdrugmart.caI purchased this during my lip products obsession phase. I can tell you with 100% confidence that this product is a waste of money! It's a lip balm with texture. That's all folks. I think that watier was attempting to produce a product similar to the Dior addict lip sugar scrub. Both of them are all hype. And don't believe the hype. I finally found a decent lip scrub that was in a pot instead of the classic baton stick, which had large granules of sugar which apparently acts as a humectant to keep lips soft. The tube that Watier is selling just doesn't exfoliate. The sugar never really physically applied to the lips. What happens is, you use it, and then the sugar starts forming bumps on the surface of the product which you can then use to vigorously exfoliate your lips byaggressively applying the product on the lips by pressing really hard and using small circular motions. It claims to leave sugar on top of your lips that melt away as you rub your lips together. In my experience this didn't occur. I will say that it did hydrate and it feels good on my lips. You can tell it's not a cheap lip balm and the pink color..is very very sheer. Bottom line…if you want a really good lip scrub. Make it at home on your own. It's super easy all you need is a few ingredients plus it will be all natural.

The packaging is not only pretty but easy to use. I didn't anticipate that it would work as well as it did. I've tried others in the past and they were just sub par. But, this one worked right away, not too grainy, pleasant smell, easy to use, and not a gummy texture. I really love this product!!!!! This will be my new go to for super soft lips, and moisturizing. Thank You Lise Watier for a lovely product!!!!
