Purchased this thermometer over 10 years ago when it was under a different brand name. It is hard to toggle back and forth from C to F but if you read the instuctions properly it works. Dangerously inaccurate

shoppersdrugmart.caDo not get this product especially for anyone on chemotherapy requiring frequent monitoring of fever. This thermometer is not accurate at all. Oral temperature consistently at 33-35C is just ridiculously low. Avoid this product!

Unable to change to °F

shoppersdrugmart.caJust purchased this yesterday. Was excited that it could take quick readings however I use °F not °C. Thought no problem because it says you can easily change from one to the other. Not easy. Quite frustrating. I followed the instructions but keep getting a CAL then ER-0 code. Removed battery and put back in, still same issue. Useless. Will return today.

shoppersdrugmart.cabought because I'm pretty sure I might have a fever at the moment. I highly doubt my temperature is below 34C as still feel feverish. Seriously though I've been taking my temperature over the last three days and it never read above 35C. Typically I have a normal body temperature, hopefully they take it back?

shoppersdrugmart.caNot accurate at all!!! I had a fever of at least 38.5 C, but this thermometer stops measuring after 10 seconds and only showed 37.9 C. I continued to measure for another 2 minutes and it went up to 38.2 C and turned off very quickly.
Extremely unreliable

shoppersdrugmart.caI was using this to take my basal temp every morning. I got a new one becasue I didn't like how this one beeped and woke my partner up. I noticed when I tried both that they had different results. I started testing it more and I realized that this one showed different results every time when I used it back to back, up to 1C different. The one I got online was much more consistent. I thought items purchased in a store would have more quality control than online but I guess not.
