A very luxe experience

I received the cle de peau intensive fortifying cream in a voxbox campaign in exchange for my unbiased review. I have a lot of notes, so I'll start this off with a TLDR: This cream is a very luxe experience all around, but the best part is the immediate results that I've seen on my dark spots and fi...ne lines. The cream itself is a lovely pink color with a really nice scent. Initially this worried me, as I have very sensitive skin and a ton of fragrance usually equates to breakouts. However, I have not had that experience at all after using this product. Quite the opposite in fact, as my blemishes have all but disappeared. Because this product is described as intensely moisturizing, I went into this with the expectation that this was going to be a little greasy, but I was pleasantly surprised to note that the cream sits very lightly on the skin (even directly after application). I think the most noteworthy part about this product is definitely the results that I've seen (literally overnight). I suffer from melasma and somewhat poor skin texture, but after I started using this I've been waking up with baby soft skin that is GLOWING. I legit started getting unsolicited comments from co-workers about how refreshed I look. After about a week of nightly use, I could already see my dark spots fading. As far as anti-aging, I do think that this works very well. I'm pretty anti-botox so I've come to terms with my fine lines, but I have already begun to notice the more pesky lines shrinking with this product. I am not sure that this effect is permanent, but it's certainly promising. The packaging for this is very lovely, and I very much appreciate the little spoon that they included--I normally hate tub products because the thought of bacteria is a big turnoff for me, but the spoon is a thoughtful inclusion on CDP's part. I would, however, have loved some sort of visual or instruction for how the tray and spoon setup was supposed to work (maybe on the packaging). It took me a while to figure it out. Also, it's pricey. It retails for $190 for the 1.7 oz so I can see that being a barrier for some people to purchase. I've been disappointed in expensive products before, but I can say without a doubt that this cream is incredible. Nearing grail-worthy even. I will definitely be looking into other products from Cle de Peau after trying this.
