A great lightweight cream!

I was thoroughly impressed by Pacifica's Future Youth Cream packaging upon receiving it.The box is very informative and beautiful at the same time, and the product is in a glass jar.  A lot of skin care products no longer use glass packaging.  I am a true skincare junkie, and it seems that glass pac...kaging is rare luxury. Aside from that, this cream is very lightweight and cushiony. It  is similar to water creams from high-end brands in texture and application.  The scent reminds me of a cool spring morning- a soft fruity floral that is not overwhelming. When you put the cream on, you get a slightly soothing and cooling sensation.  A little goes along way, so you don't need to apply a whole lot. This cream is designed to protect the skin barrier, provide deep moisturization, and protect from aging.  And, it is also perfect for oilier skins because it is very light in texture.  It has a gel-like feel, but is hydrating and slightly emollient at the same time.  This cream is packed with skin-loving ingredients and soothing botanical extracts.  Three particular flower extracts help to smooth fine lines and protect:  edelweiss and passion flowers to fight fine lines, and peony flower to fight free radicals.  I have dry skin, so I'm used to very rich creams. Though lightweight, this cream worked very well to deliver moisture without feeling greasy as I live in humidity.  Unlike a lot of other lightweight moisturizers in the market, which feel like they evaporate upon application, this cream leaves a nice barrier that is perfect for even drier skins.  Only thing is that this cream may not be hydrating enough for dry skin like me in cold weather (you would need to mix with an oil).  But, this cream is perfect for more tropical climates year-round.  As an experienced esthetician, I believe this cream would be the perfect skin prep under make up. It is not greasy at all and suitable for all skin types.  It is a great cream to have in your makeup kits!  The Future Youth Cream is great for preventing fine lines and wrinkles without breaking the bank!  Pacifica is a very affordable brand with a luxe feel and quality ingredients! **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
