I have 2 foundation brushes from BB and I absorb love both for different reasons. His one I can really add precision to where I apply my foundation UCB as under my eyes and in between my eyebrows. A must have brush for your collection.

Bobbi Brown brushes are no doubt one of the most iconic in the industry and easily can upgrade any makeup set. Recently, I started to also use this brush to apply face masks and love it. Product applies so evenly and I love how indulgent it feels.

Its a very well made brush but I find it too small. Secondly, coverage comes out patchy for me. I'm a fingers type of girl for foundation.

I bought my first Bobbi Brown brushes way back in the dark ages of 1993 when I bought my first Bobbi Brown cosmetics. I've been a customer ever since for both make up and then skin care too. Along the line I've acquired a lot of BB brushes (and I even have a couple of my original ones...yes they DO last that long with good care) but somehow thought the foundation brush wasn't one I needed. I've recently gone back to the stick foundation (after two favorite liquid foundations were discontinued) and found blending with my fingers wasn't working to apply it well, even over a well prepped face (with Extra Serum and Extra Face Oil). So when this brush was offered as part of a "with purchase" for foundation, I figured "why not?" Now I wonder why didn't I buy this sooner? It makes all the difference in applying the stick foundation' a snap for easy, perfect blending and coverage. Just right brush for the task and a top quality brush as I've come to appreciate about BB over the years.

I'm not calling this a fantastic brush. This is a typical brush. I don't honestly think it's anything special. In fact when I wash it I don't care for the way the bristles lay after. It applies my foundation nicely. However, in all honesty so does my sponge. I've considered returning it for the money I spent. I haven't used it but, 2-3 times for that reason.

I bought this brush a couple months back but never got a chance to try it until now. I tried it with my favorite foundation-la mer. Usually my foundation goes on beautifully with a beauty blender or even with just my fingers. When I use this brush, the application is really streaky. Since my skin in dry-combination, this brush has somehow made the foundation grab on to my dry skin making the foundation finish looks really dry, patchy and serparated - really not a cute look. It just not what it's claimed to be at all, which is "flawless finish" . I don't know how it is top rated. Maybe this brush is not for me.

I upgraded my off-brand foundation brush after trying and loving Bobbi's powder brush. I am so incredibly disappointed. First, it is pretty expensive. Second, it was great the first use for applying my liquid Bobbi foundation. After the first use though, it's extremely greasy, hard to use and leaves streaks everywhere, also, it pokes! I have to wash it every time I use it, which is way too excessive. I have gone back to using my cheap foundation brush as it actually works. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the bristles, or the length of them, but it's unuseable unless it is washed after every use....which is not possible for an every day morning routine. This was a miss and I only wish I could get my money back. I'm honestly flaberghasted at all of the rave reviews.
