I have used Manic Panic Lightning several times as I change the colour of my hair with the wind. It is easy to use. Hair feels great after using and it does turns my hair completely platinum white.

Great product. I used it years ago and intend to go purchase some tomorrow. I have dark brown hair and last I used it, it was well past my shoulders. The kit was enough to bleach out my entire head before dying it fire engine red (theatrical performance lol) I have dry, frizzy hair as it is and this product did not damage it, very surprisingly! It turned out VERY platinum blonde, but I also monitored the colour as time went. Great product, dont hesitate to purchase it! The beauty of hair is... if you hate the colour, it's always able to be changed. Be daring :)

This kit is good for short to shoulder length hair. One box didn't cover half my head. My hair is about a foot long. It doesn't say anywhere on the box how much it covers. After buying a second box, it still didn't get all my hair done. It will lighten the hair but is too small of amount in the kit especially for the price.

I naturally have dark brown hair and this stuff turned it a gorgeous sparkling platinum blonde that required zero toner. My hair did not have a trace of brassiness or yellowness. I love the outcome! I wasn't expecting my hair to turn out this pale/shimmery blonde. It didn't fry my hair either as its still very soft, not coarse at all. As for the amount of bleach powder + developer provided, you're definitely given more than enough if you have long hair (26") like me. This is officially my go-to bleach now.
