Sleek luxury experience lipstick for sure

Just to start, the case of this lipstick is absolutely stunning. It has a little bit of weight to it, but isn't so much as to make carrying it around too inconvenient. It also comes with a super cute little Dior logo carved on the end of the bullet. It was so hard to do the first application and sme...ar it away, haha! The color I received is 8 - brick red. I would describe it as a neutral to warm, orange-based red. It applies lighter and brighter than it appears in the tube. As for the formula, it is a lightweight but medium to high pigment texture that I would most similarly compare to a dry oil. It's not incredibly moisturizing, but it doesn't dry out my lips either. The shine does wear off pretty quickly, as well as the highest level of pigment. However, it does leave behind a slight tint so that your lips don't look bare once the initial application wears off. Overall I would say it is on par with other lipsticks in a similar price range that I've tried, maybe a tiny bit better in the way it doesn't make my lips feel a bit tight and dry once the moisture wears off. Nothing too incredible but how can you not enjoy owning a Dior lipstick?
