I purchased the Even Better Foundation Shade: CN 0.5 Shell which is the lightest option under Very Fair and it is the perfect match for my cool toned pale porcelain colored face with copper red hair and hazel eyes. It is incredibly hard to find very fair foundation shades that are cool-neutral and not leaning yellow or pink. Please keep making these very fair shades for those of us with this light coloring! The foundation is amazing and I am so thrilled to not have any breakouts (skin type #3 combo oily) which is always a problem with most foundations. I love that I can smooth out my rosacea complexion and build up the coverage which looks just like my real skin but BETTER! I can also cover small breakout bumps if needed. I am so happy I took a chance on this product which my Mom has used for years successfully and her skin is gorgeous for 78 years, which she credits partially to use of this product daily. The foundation wears very well and by the end of the day, my skin does not look shiny or dry. Clinique, PLEASE do not discontinue this product or the very fair 0.5 Shell shade. Thank you for offering this excellent foundation.

I was given a sample of this because Clinique discontinued the foundation I have been using. I was using Even Better refresh. I loved that one. I don't understand why it was discontinued. Please bring it back. I could get this one and the same color so that was good. But I still like refresh better.

I love this foundation. Goes on smooth and cover really well. I tried another brand and it does not compare to Clinique.

The makeup itself is great, but the container is disappointing! 😞 My Clinique beauty consultant assured me this was a glass bottle, but it came as a squeeze bottle.

This is the best foundation I have ever tried! It is the perfect light coverage with one layer. It can be layered for medium coverage without any cakiness. I have super sensitive skin and this foundation doesn't irritate it at all. Other foundations give me flaky skin and creasing. This one doesn't at all! It is pretty darn dewey. If I'm not feeling the shininess, I use powder and then it is a gorgeous matte finish. Both cream and powder blushes look really nice on top of it. Sometimes if I need more coverage, I'll layer one of Clinique's more full coverage foundations over the Even Better foundation and it never pills or does anything weird. Highly recommend for people who have had issues with pilling and flaky dry skin with other foundations!

It wears nicely throughout the day and does not make my face feel tight or overly dry. I have recommended it to my friends because it is reliable and suitable for everyday use.

I haven't used Clinique products for years. But I've had so much eczema issues around the eye area. In researching Clinique kept coming up as a Brand to use for reactive sensitive skin. I found out that foundation can irritate reactive skin. I got a new concealer and also bought their mascara and eyeliner, as their products are fragrance free. I bought this particular product, and it's amazing! The finish is so natural. I have mature normal to dry skin, sometimes combination in the heat of summer. This product doesn't settle into lines, and smooths over pores. It lasts all day, even on summer humid days. I'm so glad I tried it, and so far so good, no eczema.
