I've had it over a month now. I wasted my money with this purchase. I don't recommend anyone buying it. The grind is inconsistent and the cleanup is messy. It's mostly cheap plastic and it doesn't appear it will last very long. It had a chip on the silver paint and plastic on the top right out of the box. If it had been a more expensive appliance I would have returned it. I have used it twice but will be going back to my smaller blade grinders that have given me many years of good service. If someone needy wanted this thing I would gladly give it away.

Worst coffee grinder I have ever owned. Motor overheats and stops. Has adjustable grind size but same moves while grinding so you don't get the grind size you want. Literally had it for 6 months and motor died. Was happy to toss it out.

I am not sure my review is fair because this is the first burr grinder i have owned. Out of the box it has chips in the silver paint around the top, not a big deal but it shouldn't be that way. It's all plastic and doesn't look like a high quality grinder but it was not expensive either. The knob on the side for grind size has 19 dots the first dot being the smallest and the last dot being the largest. The manual says the grind should set to medium for Drip. I'm assuming the smallest dot means the finest grind and the large dot the courser grind so I set it a couple of dots past the middle which I thought should be close enough for medium. If the dial had a label with fine medium and course and dots in between it would be simpler to understand. I have been using a smaller blade grinder in the past and to get a finer grind I simply run it for a little more time. At first I thought the dots on the dial were indicating grinding time and turning the dial to the right would increase the time and produce a finer grind. This was my first use and I think the next time I use it I'll select a position on the grind scale to left of centre instead of to the right. The coffee was weak this time but I think my next batch will be perfected. I found it takes more clean up time after use compared to the blade grinder which is a simple wipe out with a cloth or napkin. Maybe I'll like it better as I get more familiar with it.

This grinder is excellent. It grinds evenly and properly. Easy to wash and use. Nice design.

Bought it 10 months ago. Somewhat happy. But besides the low price, i would not have boughten it.

I bought this unit due to its large capacity. Opened the package and took out the instructions and it recommended cleaning all parts prior to use. Took off the top and proceeded to remove the burr grinder attachment. Manual said to turn it clockwise for removal. Tried many different approaches to get it out and failed miserably. Next day called the store and they said that they would exchange it for a new one. In my frustration I went online and found the same Burr Grinder $18.00 cheaper. Forturnately the store I purchased it at gave me a price matching credit from my original bill of sale. The manager efficiently handled my complaint and went to get a replacement from stock. He came back and explained that to remove the Burr Grinder part from the filling cup you had to first remove the bucket from the base of the machine which cancelled the safety feature and allowed the Burr Grinder to be removed by twisting it clockwise. It seemed like a magnet system held the Burr Grinder in the bean cup as a safety feature. Could not find that kind of instruction in the manual.. Now to wash it and clean it up. Looking for good results. Fully adjustable for grind selection and number of cups to grind.

I bought Black + Decker coffee grinder #CBM310BD the price was affordable. The reason I wanted to buy coffee grinder is to have fresh taste coffee for drip coffee maker and espresso. I set it to the finest and re grinded the coffee 3 times and still was course.

I returned it immediately because the grinder was not removeable for cleaning as described in the enclosed brochure

I bought this a month ago and it is not working. From Day One it has been a challenge to make sure it is working properly.
