It is still my signature scent though, and that will never change. I have been wearing Angel since its inception. However the reinterpretation leaves me disappointed. mugler.co.uk/Mugler/Clarins has absolutely destroyed this perfume. Once absolutely mesmeric, warm, super strong and impactful- it is no longer. The scent profile is completely skewed, with it now being patchouli dominant, sharp smelling and almost like men's cologne. I sampled a display bottle in winter 2022 yet by winter 2023 when I bought my current 50ml, it was completely different. In 2022 I sprayed one spritz on my wrist that day and when I got home that evening my mum could smell me throughout the house. On the occasion that I do wear my bottle of Angel (to see if it's macerated or settled into the Angel I once knew) it lasts about 2 hours on my skin! I have perfumes at half the price of Angel and less that last over 8 hours on my skin. I will be searching for a dupe as this fragrance is ruined and no longer worth the money at all.
