Application-wise, I had to go over the same area several times as it does apply a bit patchy. It doesn't make for a crisp cat-eye but it still looked good to me. The navy was more apparent when I was applying it, but zoomed out, it looks pretty black to me. I have oily lids and was worried if it would smudge throughout the day. It didn't smudge but it did start to flake onto my top and bottom lids near the end of the day. So if you are only going out for a short bit, this is great. If you have a long day and have oily lids, your eyeliner is going to look patchy and there will be flakes around your eyes. Bobbi Brown 24 Hour Kajal Liner was very easy to apply. I love how smoothly the eyeliner glided across my eyelids without any tugging. The color was dark and bold, and it lasted all day without smudging or needing to be reapplied, which I really liked. When it was time to remove the eyeliner, I needed makeup remover to take off the remaining product. It is definitely waterproof, and it shows! I love that I can count on this eyeliner to last throughout the day without having to worry about touching it up.

I love this Navy Blue waterprood eyeliner. I used it for several hours and it stayed in place. I love how easy it was to apply to the waterline and eyelid. I blended it to avoid the harsh line and that you do need to blend relatively fast. The eyeliner from the waterline didn't transfer to the upper lid like other eyeliners I use.

I wore the Bobbi Brown 24 Hour Kajal Waterproof Eyeliner every day for a week, and was sadly disappointed by its performance. The eyeliner pencil is highly pigmented and a goes on very dark black with just one sweep; some people may like this but found that it was hard to lightly build, and immediately left me with a thick dark goth-like look on my eyes. Furthermore, I noticed that throughout the day pigmented would transfer and smudge to my under eyes and I would develop "raccoon eyes". However, it was then difficult to remove, even with makeup remover - so it's definitely waterproof, but highly smudge-able. I sharpened it with my normal makeup pencil sharpener and found that it just caused pieces to crumble into my lashes when applied. Overall, I'd give this product 1/5 stars. I love this liner! It lasts all day without smudging at all. In turn it's hard to smudge it out because of the way this is supposed to work so don't expect that with this.
