The reason for my 3-star review is largely based off of my love of the full size Quo unbreakable oval vented brush and the fact that this brush does not live up the larger unbreakable brush, as well as the fact that I have used other mini/small brushes that do an equal or better job than this one. While I would begrudgingly pay the price for the large oval unbreakable brush given how good it is, this one doesn't do much to justify it's price and is a bit of a let down if you buy it expecting or looking for a compact version of the larger brush. Ultimately, the paddle shape, lack of vents, and two piece design of this brush fail to match up to the best qualities of the full size vented brush (which I described in more detail in my review of it). Additionally, despite being made of the same material as the large oval unbreakable and being specifically called named a "detangling" brush, this brush does not detangle nearly as effortlessly as the large oval. My best guess is that it the denser distribution and change in the angling of the bristles on this one relative to on the larger brush are what make the brushing itself not as good. Do what you may with this info Quo (i.e., please make a literal mini version of the big oval one).
